Nowadays, de – industrialization and complexity in all productive procedures, point out the need for international qualifications with an emphasis on skills of adaptability, self – reliance, quality consciousness, independence, creativity, motivation, the ability to deal with insecurity adjusting to new economy.
The issues which are being taken into consideration in the modern reality are listed below:
- Changes in the world economy - Globalization
- High level of unemployment rate in most EU countries. There is a huge gap between the results of research and education and the need of SME's, mostly in technological and organizational skills.
- Lack of training provision for small enterprises and constraints to take into consideration such as time, place, cost and quality.
- Lack of human support and unreliability of technology.
- Difficulty in finding information on the nature of the training available.
Accordingly, this project aspires to find and express the reasons for ‘business non – viability' and to improve the provision of training to the new entrepreneur. Great priority is also given to vocational training.
